This day-long workshop, recommended for WBL Coordinators, secondary counselors, and school administrators will share promising practices and key design principles for each type of WBL including internships, youth apprenticeships, registered apprenticeships, and school-based enterprises. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from practitioners and will have guided time to develop a plan for moving WBL forward in their school or district.
Secondary leaders, WBL Coordinators, and counselors are encouraged to attend. Note that registration for the WBL workshop is separate.
Learning objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Classify the different types of WBL taking place in their respective districts.
Apply key design principles to create a plan to expand WBL opportunities for students.
Learn and network with WBL practitioners throughout central Indiana.
